Ashley hopes to empower her clients to better understand themselves so they can live a life that feels truly enriched and authentic.

During her free time, Ashley can be found baking cookies, outside in nature, or crafting a new DIY project. She loves spending time with her friends and family and creating warm and cozy spaces for all of her loved ones to enjoy!

Luke Percy

Master’s Level Intern

He/them

Luke Percy is a Master’s level clinical intern working under the supervision of Kelly Jenssen, LCPC. In 2009, he earned his bachelor’s degree in Psychology and English Language and Linguistics from Rhodes University in South Africa. In 2017, he earned an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Alabama. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Professional Counseling from Loyola University Maryland. Luke is also a qualified yoga instructor. He is excited about the opportunity to work at CTSA in the space of integrative mental health care and is eager to apply himself as a clinical counselor.

Luke believes in the inherent wholeness, and goodness, of each individual, as he understands how easy it is to feel less than this given the challenges we face day-to-day and throughout our lives. In his approach to mental health care, he strives to reconnect clients to the parts of themselves that have been obscured. He prioritizes the integration of intellectual awareness with emotional awareness, helps clients establish a safe connection to the body, and promotes the ability to connect with something greater than ourselves. Navigating trauma and emotional or interpersonal struggle requires vulnerability: being willing to ask questions while being patient and curious in the face of uncertainty, stress, and discomfort. To this work, Luke brings compassion, non-judgment, and a sense of humility—no one knows the client better than they know themselves.

For fun, Luke enjoys spending time with friends, playing guitar, and loving on his mini-golden doodle, Wink.
