Jordan Goodman, LCPC

Jordan Goodman is a licensed psychotherapist and professional musician who joined the CTSA team in 2021. He holds a Master’s degree in Counseling from Loyola University and has worked in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings with adolescents and adults.
Jordan has a specialized background in the field of therapeutic drumming and often incorporates music and drumming as a part of his treatment approach with clients who are interested in the benefits of music therapy. Jordan believes the foundation of successful therapy is rooted in a trusting and secure relationship. He offers a nonjudgmental space to openly explore thoughts, feelings, and experiences with support, confidentiality, and kindness at the client’s pace.
Jordan offers an integrative approach to therapy that is goal-directed and focused on developing self-awareness, strengthening relationships, and creating lasting change. Jordan’s approaches to treatment utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Humanistic-Existential approaches, Motivational Interviewing, and Psychodynamic theories.
During downtime, Jordan enjoys performing on the drums with his band Raindeer, hosting podcasts, attending concerts, and playing a good game of frisbee.
Taylor White, LCSW-C

Taylor White is a licensed clinical social worker and is originally a native of North Carolina and earned their bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina-Wilmington in social work. Taylor then attended graduate school at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and earned their master’s degree in social work, effectively making Maryland their stomping grounds. Taylor has worked closely with survivors of domestic and interpersonal violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking, and those who have experienced extensive trauma. Taylor has also worked extensively with the LGBTQIA community and those struggling with identity and sexuality in a variety of settings including domestic violence centers and group private practice.
Taylor is passionate about working with older teens and young adults, particularly those who are members of the LGBTQIA community, to manage feelings of anxiety, depression, life transitions, and traumatic experiences they may have been exposed to in their lives. Taylor also specializes in working with clients navigating the kink/BDSM community and those in polyamorous relationships. Taylor utilizes an eclectic therapeutic framework to offer clients a positive and comforting environment to explore their experiences in an open and non-judgmental space. Taylor utilizes elements of ACT, CBT, and mindfulness practices to better aid clients in being “in the moment,” and becoming more familiar and comfortable with their bodies and personhood.
Taylor is also a certified tarot and oracle reader, and utilizes these aids in session to aid in the use of symbolism and metaphor in clients’ lives. Taylor enjoys reading tarot in their personal life, as well as, spending time with loved ones, playing video games, reading, writing and drawing.
Shayonna Escalera, LMSW

Shayonna Escalera earned her bachelor’s degree from Cedar Crest College in 2021, majoring in Social Work, a minor in Spanish, as well as a Child Welfare Certificate. During her undergraduate education, Shayonna led a weekly community outreach program working with elementary and middle school children in the Allentown School District in Pennsylvania. Shayonna previously worked with children in foster care in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. She earned her master’s degree from Marywood University in May of 2022. While at Marywood, she provided therapy to university students. After graduation, she provided therapy to children, adolescents, and families served at an Outpatient Mental Health Clinic in Maryland.
Shayonna has experience working with individuals who have diagnoses including Anxiety Disorders, Major Depressive Disorder, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Reactive Attachment Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and Bipolar Personality Disorder. Shayonna particularly enjoys working with clients living with Anxiety and Depressive Disorders. Shayonna’s passion is to integrate mindfulness-based approaches with therapy and help clients to understand themselves and feel more connected in their life.
Shayonna enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults. She especially enjoys working with children and adolescents to improve confidence, emotion regulation, effective communication, and negative self-talk. Shayonna’s strengths-based and non-judgmental approach creates a warm and welcoming space for clients.
In Shayonna’s downtime, she loves reading, journaling, meditation, mindfulness, rewatching her favorite shows, listening to music, and playing the drums. She also finds peace through meditation, taking care of her house plants, and listening to vinyl records.
Robin Harris, LCSW-C

Robin Harris earned her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore in 2019. Robin has clinical experience in the world of crisis intervention and emergency medicine, specializing in psychiatric assessment, treatment, and crisis stabilization within the hospital setting. Robin has also worked closely with the Baltimore and DC immigrant and Latino communities, focusing on youth advocacy, safe housing, and immigration justice. Robin has worked with diverse populations, including survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking, children and young adults experiencing psychiatric crises, and families experiencing homelessness. Robin also has experience working with individuals seeking treatment for drug and alcohol use, and individuals living with complex medical conditions.
Robin is passionate about helping clients strengthen their inner voice and self-confidence, dispelling shame and stigma. Robin uses an eclectic trauma-informed therapeutic approach that incorporates elements from solutions-focused therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Robin especially enjoys working with clients who identify as neurodivergent and has experience working with ADHD and Autism Spectrum disorders.
When she isn’t working, Robin enjoys spending time with horses, being with her dog, reading fiction, playing video games, and being with her friends and family.
Hayley Hinton, LGPC

Hayley Hinton is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor in Maryland. Hayley earned her Bachelor’s Degree at Towson University and then obtained her Master’s degree from Grand Canyon University. Hayley started her clinical work at Sheppard Pratt’s inpatient Trauma Disorders unit and then went on to work in the outpatient setting at Sheppard Pratt’s day programs. She has experience working with survivors of severe trauma and abuse including sexual assault, sex trafficking, child abuse, etc. In Hayley’s outpatient experience, she became more familiar with psychotic disorders, general stress, anxiety, and depression.
Hayley is passionate about her work with adults who want to process their trauma, learn coping skills, and develop healthy self-care strategies to make day-to-day life a bit easier. She works through a person-centered approach and believes that you are the expert of your life and she is just an additional support person to help you as you navigate your personal experience. Hayley has experience with Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, which focuses on emotion regulation skills, interpersonal effectiveness, distress tolerance, and mindfulness.
In Hayley’s downtime, she really loves spending time with her husband, friends, and family. She enjoys playing games, watching her favorite TV shows, and traveling any chance she gets. For self-care Hayley enjoys a hot bath, exercise, time with loved ones, and visiting her favorite restaurants.
Jazmine Miller, LMSW

Jazmine Miller earned her bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Salisbury University in 2018. During her undergraduate education, Jazmine worked with young children and assisted with yoga therapy groups for abused women at a private practice. She went on to complete a master’s degree in Social Work from Salisbury University and graduated in 2021. Throughout her master’s level internship, Jazmine worked closely with children with autism. She has experience working with vulnerable populations such as the elderly, homeless, veterans, and substance abuse patients in a hospital setting. Jazmine also has experience working with high-conflict divorce.
Along with her own experience with parenthood, she enjoys working with the perinatal community, including adults who are navigating early parenthood and the struggles that parenthood can bring. Jazmine also works with couples and individuals who are struggling with life obstacles such as divorce, juggling work-life balance, and other modern stressors. Her goal is to work collaboratively with her clients and provide a safe, friendly space.
Jazmine loves spending her free time with her family and friends, visiting local coffee shops, and spending time outside, and she also enjoys reading mystery-thriller books.
Mykela Frazier, LGPC

Mykela earned her Bachelor’s degree from Bowie State University in 2019, where she majored in Psychology. She is currently obtaining her Master’s degree in Applied Psychology at the University of Baltimore and will eventually earn her LCPC to become a full-time counselor. As a former intern at the center, Mykela joins the team with excitement, openness, and gratitude.
Mykela loves collaborating with clients to craft a holistic, integrative plan that meets their needs; in her current role, she aims to help clients consider and integrate all areas of wellness into their treatment. She believes that creating a safe space for clients to feel comfortable is paramount; she hopes to support individuals along their journey with empathy, kindness, and authenticity. Mykela is passionate about bringing awareness to the importance of mental and emotional health, as well as making counseling services more accessible & acceptable to the African American community. As someone who has overcome and transmuted many traumas, she is committed to helping others cope with stress, anxiety, trauma, and other life difficulties. She intends to use an integrative approach to counseling, with an emphasis on person-centered and mindfulness-based techniques.
During her free time, Mykela enjoys reading a good book (and purchasing new books), practicing yoga, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family. She also has a deep passion for literary arts and loves to write poetry + prose. Although some of her writing stays tucked away in her journal, she also co-founded a free online publication called Amani Sol Magazine where she releases her artistic expressions.
