Shayonna Escalera, LMSW

Shayonna Escalera earned her bachelor’s degree from Cedar Crest College in 2021, majoring in Social Work, with a minor in Spanish and a Child Welfare Certificate. During her undergraduate education, she led a weekly community outreach program with elementary and middle school children in the Allentown School District in Pennsylvania. Shayonna previously worked with children in foster care in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. She earned her master’s degree from Marywood University in May of 2022, providing therapy to university students and later to children, adolescents, and families at an Outpatient Mental Health Clinic in Maryland.
Shayonna has experience working with individuals diagnosed with Anxiety Disorders, Major Depressive Disorder, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Reactive Attachment Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and Bipolar Personality Disorder. She particularly enjoys working with clients living with Anxiety and Depressive Disorders, integrating mindfulness-based approaches to help clients understand themselves and feel more connected in their lives.
Shayonna enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults, focusing on improving confidence, emotion regulation, effective communication, and addressing negative self-talk. Her strengths-based and non-judgmental approach creates a warm and welcoming space for clients.
In her downtime, Shayonna loves reading, journaling, meditation, mindfulness, rewatching her favorite shows, listening to music, and playing the drums. She also finds peace through taking care of her house plants and listening to vinyl records.

Robin Harris, LCSW-C

Robin Harris earned her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore in 2019. She has clinical experience in crisis intervention and emergency medicine, specializing in psychiatric assessment, treatment, and crisis stabilization within hospital settings. Robin has worked closely with the Baltimore and DC immigrant and Latino communities, focusing on youth advocacy, safe housing, and immigration justice. She has experience working with diverse populations, including survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking, children and young adults experiencing psychiatric crises, and families experiencing homelessness. Robin also works with individuals seeking treatment for drug and alcohol use and those living with complex medical conditions.
Robin is passionate about helping clients strengthen their inner voice and self-confidence while dispelling shame and stigma. She employs an eclectic, trauma-informed therapeutic approach that incorporates elements from solutions-focused therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Robin especially enjoys working with clients who identify as neurodivergent and has experience with ADHD and Autism Spectrum disorders.
When not working, Robin enjoys spending time with horses, being with her dog, reading fiction, playing video games, and enjoying time with friends and family.


Hayley Hinton, LGPC

Hayley Hinton is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor in Maryland. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree at Towson University and then obtained her Master’s degree from Grand Canyon University. Hayley started her clinical work at Sheppard Pratt’s inpatient Trauma Disorders unit and then transitioned to the outpatient setting at Sheppard Pratt’s day programs, gaining experience with survivors of severe trauma and abuse, including sexual assault and sex trafficking, as well as general stress, anxiety, and depression.
Hayley is passionate about helping adults process their trauma, learn coping skills, and develop healthy self-care strategies to navigate daily life. She employs a person-centered approach, believing that clients are the experts of their lives, while she serves as a supportive guide throughout their personal journeys. Hayley has experience with Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, focusing on emotion regulation skills, interpersonal effectiveness, distress tolerance, and mindfulness.
In her downtime, Hayley enjoys spending time with her husband, friends, and family. She likes playing games, watching her favorite TV shows, and seizing any chance to travel. For self-care, she enjoys hot baths, exercise, time with loved ones, and visiting her favorite restaurants.

Erica Marshall, LCPC

Erica earned her bachelor’s degree from Dickinson College in 2017, majoring in Psychology and receiving a Health Studies Certificate. She went on to obtain her master’s degree in Clinical Professional Counseling at Loyola University Maryland. Erica first came to CTSA as an Intern in 2020 and is now dual-hatted as a Clinician and Chief Operating Officer.
Clinically, Erica works with adults who have experienced trauma. She is particularly passionate about helping individuals disrupt the cycle of intergenerational trauma. Erica is an EMDR-trained therapist and frequently incorporates mindfulness, somatic awareness, and art therapy into her sessions. Operating from a client-centered approach, she values the healing components of human connection and creativity in therapy.
In her free time, Erica enjoys spending time with loved ones, exploring new spots across Maryland, doing puzzles, visiting local farmers’ markets, working out, making good meals, and cuddling with her dog Quincy. These activities help her feel grounded, inspired, and rejuvenated.


Jazmine Miller, LMSW

Jazmine Miller earned her bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Salisbury University in 2018. During her undergraduate education, she worked with young children and assisted with yoga therapy groups for abused women at a private practice. She went on to complete her master’s degree in Social Work from Salisbury University, graduating in 2021. Throughout her master’s internship, Jazmine worked closely with children with autism and has experience with vulnerable populations such as the elderly, homeless, veterans, and substance abuse patients in a hospital setting. She also has experience with high-conflict divorce.
Along with her own experiences with parenthood, Jazmine enjoys working with the perinatal community, including adults navigating early parenthood and the challenges it brings. She also works with couples and individuals facing life obstacles such as divorce and balancing work-life responsibilities. Jazmine’s goal is to collaborate with her clients and provide a safe, friendly space.
In her free time, Jazmine loves spending time with her family and friends, visiting local coffee shops, and enjoying the outdoors. She also enjoys reading mystery-thriller books.

Taylor White, LCSW-C

Taylor White is a licensed clinical social worker originally from North Carolina. They earned their bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina-Wilmington in social work and attended graduate school at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, where they earned their master’s degree in social work.
Taylor has worked closely with survivors of domestic and interpersonal violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking, and those who have experienced extensive trauma. They have also worked extensively with the LGBTQIA community and those struggling with identity and sexuality in various settings, including domestic violence centers and group private practice.
Taylor is passionate about working with older teens and young adults, particularly those who are members of the LGBTQIA community, to manage feelings of anxiety, depression, life transitions, and traumatic experiences. They also specialize in working with clients navigating the kink/BDSM community and those in polyamorous relationships. Taylor utilizes an eclectic therapeutic framework to provide a positive and comforting environment for clients to explore their experiences openly and without judgment. Their approach incorporates elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness practices.
In their personal life, Taylor is a certified tarot and oracle reader and enjoys spending time with loved ones, playing video games, reading, writing, and drawing.
