Annette is currently attending East Tennessee State University, where she is working to obtain her Bachelor’s degree in Human Services with a minor in Psychology. She hopes to continue her education by ultimately receiving her Master’s degree. Annette has spent the past several years working in the healthcare field and has developed a sincere passion for helping people!
Outside of the office, Annette loves spending time with her husband and four children. She enjoys taking spontaneous road trips and being outdoors. Nearly every weekend, you can find her in the Great Smoky Mountains hiking with her family, taking a bike ride at the local park, spending the day at Dollywood, or curled up on the couch reading a good book.
Essence Johnson

Essence Johnson graduated from Salisbury University in 2018 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Art. Before joining CTSA, she worked at a learning center as an Assistant Teacher for toddlers and absolutely loved it! Essence particularly enjoyed watching the children grow and encouraging them to reach their developmental milestones while building on the knowledge she gained in developmental psychology at SU. She has a passion for helping others and loves supporting clients in taking the big step to work through difficulties they may be facing.
Katie White

Katie White has over a decade of experience in the healthcare industry, working in billing, provider enrollment, and credentialing. She is very passionate about helping make behavioral healthcare accessible to more people and incredibly excited to be working with the fantastic team at CTSA! When she is not working, she enjoys spending time in the Florida sunshine with her family and pets.
